Author: Lisa Baitup

I'm a freelance writer, copywriter, and editor. After a career working in banking writing on financial markets, I now write about my passions – food, travel, and the natural environment. From my home in Devon, I explore the produce and places of this beautiful county. With exceptional provenance, clean air and an abundance of creativity, Devon has earned a reputation as a top foodie destination. So it's no surprise that in normal time each year would be punctuated by food festivals, markets, and seasonal events, and we look forward to their return. Widely travelled and inspired by the cuisines of India and South East Asia, I explore a region's culture through its food. Though now we may crave new places, let’s not limit our aspirations - on the contrary, now is the time to plan, to dream, until we can once again spread our wings.
